Russ Yeast commits to Louisville

Center Grove standout Russ Yeast announced his comment via twitter, that he will continue his education and football career at the university of Louisville. There has been wide speculation, his decision was split between Iowa and Louisville for quite some time. Yeast hosted a few SEC offers, including Alabama and Auburn. The 5’11 185 pound athlete was being recruited to play both sides of the ball. At Louisville he will play cornerback.

Yeast a move in from Ohio, is the son of former Kentucky wide receiver standout Craig Yeast. The younger Yeast was once a Kentucky commit, before opening his recruitment back in June.

“First, I want to say how truly thankful I am to God for blessing me with the opportunity and talent to play the sport I love,” Yeast posted on his Twitter account Monday night. “I want to say thank you to all the schools and coaches that wanted me to be a part of their program. With that being said I would like to announce that I have officially committed to the University of Louisville.”
